Today I’m announcing a new addition to my page Red is Best : “the chat”.

Lots of you already use this feature on substack, and its great to connect with the author but also with each other. Its casual, loose, and rapid-fire.

What I love about our chats on IG is that Ill start with a question about stone tile for the renovation, and within minutes we’re in DM comparing notes about AI therapy or where to get rare hot press watercolor paper. It gets heated.

BUT… it’s always been in DM, and with chat we can share info. Its more of an AOL chatroom which to be frank I miss SO MUCH. This is our AOL.

This month I’ll be answering some of your questions about silver hair growout and care, career pivot advice, amongst other topics… in the chat is where you can drop your questions too.

How to get started, if you’re new here (a lot of you DM’d me that you’re new to this, and there’s no shame in it!)

1. Get the Substack app by clicking this link or the button below. New chat threads won’t be sent sent via email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss conversation as it happens. You can also access chat on the web.

2. Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
